Biography
Sean Williams, Chief Design Officer for Parvus House, has built a career in sustainable design. Fueled by a passion for environmental transparency, he uses his knowledge to create beautiful designs that solve problems. He is internationally recognized as an expert in LEED, the Living Building Challenge, biomimicry principals, and progressive, sustainable design.
Sean is a member of the American Institute of Architects (AIA) and National Council of Architectural Registration Boards (NCARB). He has served on local and regional boards for the USGBC (U.S. Green Building Council) and is LEED accredited.

Skyway Marina District (Economic Empowerment)

The Skyway Marina District is located at the southern end of St. Petersburg in Pinellas County. This advisory board looks at economic impacts and opportunities for the surrounding neighborhoods, business districts, and open lots. Sean provides visioning and insight from an architectural point of view will supporting the City of St. Petersburg and interested parties. The goal is to build positive economic development for the district in a diverse and responsible way.

Architecture for Humanity was a US-based charitable organization that sought architectural solutions to humanitarian crises and brought professional design services to clients (often communities in need). The Tampa Bay Branch was active since the Chapter's inception in 2004, officially becoming a distinct Branch in 2009. The Branch primarily served members in the Hillsborough, Pinellas, Polk, Pasco, Hernando, Citrus and Sumter counties.

The Florida-Caribbean Regional Committee (FCRC) was formed in 2005 to bring together eight US Green Building Council (USGBC) chapters rich in cultural, socioeconomic and bioregional diversity, perspectives, market demographics and community needs. The region includes seven USGBC chapters in Florida and the U.S. Caribbean Chapter, covering the U.S. territories of Puerto Rico and the U.S. Virgin Islands. It is home to more than 2,800 active USGBC chapter members and more than 1,600 USGBC member organizations.
